As a practicioner I strive to offer compassionate and evidence based therapy. I am passionate about supporting individuals with navigating their own journey. Helping them to develop self-awareness, reach personal goals and enhance their overall wellbeing.
I have worked with many individuals with a variety of presenting difficulties. The areas I have worked in include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, mood disorders, grief, loss, challenges within the family unit, LGBTQ+ challenges, suicidal ideation.
I have studied many different therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-centred Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches. When working with a client, I tailor therapy to their individual needs through drawing on and integrating a variety of techniques from the various modalities.
My approach to counselling is rooted in the humanistic approach. I meet my clients wherever they are and provide a safe, confidential container where they can explore challenges, heal and grow in a non-judgement and compassionate environment.
I have my primary degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am pre-accredited with APCP accrediting body.
