I'm Lara and I specialise in helping people with eating disorders, disordered eating and body image issues. Whether you have been struggling with emotional or binge eating, purging, restricting, or negative body image, we will work together to rebuild a positive relationship with you, food and your body.
I have a psychology background and have been a health & nutrition coach since 2014, working with eating disorders & disordered eating since 2020. I'm a registered psychologist, with a health and nutrition certificate, a diploma in eating disorders and trained in intuitive eating.
I work with clients who are struggling with food and body image - all types of disordered eating, bulimia, bingeing, emotional eating and overeating. In the first session - the breakthrough - we'll use my unique timeline method to uncover your underlying patterns that are keeping you stuck and create a personalised plan for healing.
My aim is to help you understand what is keeping you stuck in your relationship with food & body image and to put into a place a personalised approach to move forward so that you can create a healthy and happy relationship with food and improved body confidence. I always take a client-led approach, using combination of different techniques from mindset training, CBT, psycho-education, through to Nutrition Science to support your healing.

Working with Dr Lara on my relationship with food was a profoundly eye opening and liberating experience.
